Dhamma Ketu, meaning ‘Fort of Dhamma’, is near Shivanth River, and 10.5 km away from
the city of Durg, on National Highway No Six. Raipur, the capital of Chattisgarh state, is 40
km away. The region is famous for the Bhillai Steel Plant, the largest in India, and for various
temples, Maitree Garden and educational institutions.
Established in 1994, Dhamma Ketu can serve 48 male and 29 female students. The Dhamma
Hall can seat 100. Around ten 10-day courses, two Satipaṭṭhāna courses and three 3-day
courses are organized every year.
