Dhamma Paµµh±na, meaning ‘Established in Dhamma’ is the sacred place where the
Buddha gave the famous Maha Sutta, the discourse that contains the essence of Vipassana.
Constructed on seven acres of green land 45 Km from the Delhi bus terminal (Kashmiri
Gate), the Dhamma Centre is completely ready for meditation for old and serious meditators. As
mentioned in the Maha Satipaµµh±na Sutta ‘in Kuru Pradesh’, these was a place (Nigam) called
Kammasdamma. It is this very place, where the historic center has been located. The Buddha gave
Satipatthana and many other important suttas in this region.

The Center is equipped with a Pagoda, 63 meditation cells, two Dhamma Halls, 59
individual cottages (35 male and 24 female) with attached bath rooms. Separate quarters for male
and female assistant teachers, male and female Dhamma servers are available. The seating
arrangement is fixed for male and females in the dining hall, with their separate utensils and racks.
Students from all over the world attend courses of three-days, ten-days, Satipaµµh±na
courses, as well as long courses of 20-days and 30-days.
